Solution
The specifications for the basement waterproofing project include: 1) Installing a new dedicated outlet for the sump pump, subject to panel capacity. 2) Implementing the SuperSump pump system with various components such as a cast iron pump, liner, airtight lid, and an alarm system. 3) Installing the XL TrenchDrain and TrenchLock as specified. 4) Setting up the exterior discharge line and adding IceGuard to prevent clogs and floods. 5) Obtaining all necessary permits and pulling an electrical permit. 6) Installing LawnScape outlet and removing drywall/framing for the CleanSpace Wall. 7) Implementing the WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system. 8) Installing the CleanSpace Wall System and WellDuct as indicated. The customer is responsible for certain tasks such as moving items, repairing sprinkler lines, marking private lines, hiring an electrician, and repairing drywall. Additional notes mention the need to check for asbestos in the storage room floor and the possibility of installing an exterior box drain if the trench drain is overwhelmed.
