Before tackling this Waldorf, MD home's needs, the homeowner faced the frustration of water leaking into their walk-down basement from the drain, an issue visible in the 'before' photo. Recognizing the need for an immediate and lasting fix, NV Waterproofing and Foundation Repair stepped in to transform this space. We installed a high-quality SuperSump pump system, integrating a new box drain alongside an exterior discharge line, ensuring worry-free protection against future leaks as shown in the 'after' photo. This was a unique case in Upper Marlboro, MD where the customer not only had water issues in his basement, but evidence of substantial iron ochre deposits. We had to come up with a different solution to resolve this concern. We proposed and subsequently installed our WaterGuard IOS system and sump pump to eliminate the customers problems permanently.
The home's crawlspace foundation was starting to show signs of settling. To address this, we implemented a smart jack system and added a supplemental beam to provide additional support to the foundation.
This Arlington, VA basement looks much neater and cleaner after the installation of our WaterGuard perimeter system and CleanSpace vapor barrier. We also installed a SuperSump and did drainage work outside the home to make absolutely sure the water would not be returning.
