A homeowner has recently acquired new Channel Anchors as a solution for the bowing issues in his basement's foundation walls. These specialized wall anchors have been designed to provide stabilization and repair for shearing basement walls, offering a proven and reliable method to counteract structural issues caused by bowing or tilting.
Customer recently got a new addition put onto the home in Burke, VA . Homeowner began to notice that the floors were uneven and windows were sticking. Upon the inspection of our technical advisors it was determined that the addition needed more support. We installed a new support beam and several push piers in order for the property to remain in tact and structurally sound.
This home was experiencing water intrusion through foundational cracks that was seeping into the basement. The cinderblock walls were also showing signs of bowing. To address these issues, we implemented a Water Guard system in the basement and added Carbon Fiber straps to the walls to prevent further bowing. Additionally, we installed a sump pump that leads to an external discharge line. With these improvements, the homeowner can now proceed with finishing the basement, free from worry about structural problems or water damage.
